Domaine Vincent Paris La Geynale Cornas Rhone Rouge 2019, Magnum 150cl
A splendid Cornas!
Tasting
This cuvée presents a black color and a nose of great complexity. It has aromas of black and spicy fruits.
On the palate, we find the richness of black fruits enhanced by this minerality that gives the wine a magical balance. The wine is dense, rich, powerful, complex while remaining fresh and the tannins, still present, are perfectly integrated. harmony.

Vinification
Starts with a week of cold maceration, then fermentation starts naturally. The tank is pumped over morning and evening, the use of carbon dioxide helps reduce the addition of SO2. After 4 weeks, the wine is racked and the pomace pressed; free-run and press juice are blended. A first decantation allows for the removal of coarse lees.
The wine is then aged for 1 year in oak barrels that are 1 to 8 years old, there are no new barrels to preserve the aromas of the terroir.
At bottling, the wine is fined to clarify and refine it. -
Format: Magnum 150cl
- Production: 4 to 5000 bottles per year.
About the cuvée Cornas La Geynale
Comes from my best plots, located on the best terroir of the appellation: The Reynard district. In this district, one slope stands out: La Geynale. These are century-old vines on steep slopes facing south.
Everything is here to make an exceptional wine, perhaps the best Cornas, at least that is the goal I have set for myself. We obtain a wine with a unique character, great complexity, with a strong but silky tannic presence, powerful and smooth aromas (cooked fruits, spices, roasting) and a finish that seems endless.
