About the estate
The 6.5-hectare estate is the pride of the village of Chambolle Musigny, where almost the entire vineyard extends. The son of Ghislaine Barthod and Louis Boillot has just joined his parents at the estate to help craft wines in the greatest (and noblest) classicism of Chambolle. Each of the 11 crus of the estate shines with its uniqueness. They are true filters of terroir. While the Chambolle 1er Cru Les Fuées is always supple and fleshy, the 1er Cru Les Cras will need to be forgotten for at least ten years before it can fully blossom. Always fine and fresh (the estate is often among the first to harvest in the village alongside Domaine Rousseau), the wines are also structured by the tannins from whole bunches. Years go by, but the estate remains an undeniable and undisputed reference among the greatest names in Nuits.
