About the estate

"This property in Chassagne-Montrachet produces deep and balanced wines that age remarkably well. Alexandre, the eldest son of Bernard Moreau, has been working at the estate since 1995. Separated from his brother Benoît in 2020, he now runs the family estate alone, which has not used any yeasts since 1998. Thanks to extended aging, the wines are no longer filtered. While the deep and dense whites are somewhat cloaked by their early aging, they evolve gracefully over time. As for the reds, both village and Premier Cru are sumptuous and delightfully indulgent with often unsuspected aging potential."
