About Domaine Chateau Thivin
Since 1743, our family has passed down from generation to generation the passion for the winemaker's profession, respect for our terroirs, a precious know-how, and a quest for excellence.
Zaccharie and Marguerite Geoffray bought Château Thivin and its two hectares of vineyards around the estate (Le Clos) on June 8, 1877.
Each succeeding generation will contribute to the construction of the estate with new plots and will evolve the cultural and winemaking methods. Today, the 5th and 6th The Geoffray family generation manages this small family business, works the vineyards of the estate, and vinifies each wine while respecting its original terroir throughout the seasons.
It is with pleasure and pride that Claude Vincent takes today his three grandchildren Tobias, Nicolas, and Florina into the vineyards and to the cellar to introduce them to the secrets of the trade and give them a taste for working the land.
