About the estate

Château d’Esclans comes from the estate's vineyards, predominantly planted with Grenache and Rolle – bringing together our elitist practices: fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in barrels. A unique osmosis of freshness and complexity: it presents a rich and creamy texture, infinitely long.

100 % FROM THE VINES OF CHÂTEAU D’ESCLANS AND BOTTLED ON THE PROPERTY

Château d’Esclans is made from grapes sourced exclusively from the estate's vineyards. The harvest is carried out at night to avoid the heat of the day. Once received, the grapes are hand-sorted and precisely evaluated by an optical sorting machine to ensure and maintain quality.

50 % of its juices are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks and 50 % in demi-muids (French oak barrels of 600L), with an ingenious system that ensures temperature control. Regular bâtonnage is practiced to enhance complexity. A late bottling inherent to the extension of aging in barrel and contact with the lees.
