About the House Deutz
With over 170 years of experience, the House of Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ, the oldest renowned cru of the Champagne wine region, by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, two young and enterprising Prussian immigrants. Very quickly, the small trading house prospered, its reputation crossed borders, and in 1882, it became one of the founding members of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques. True to the philosophy of its founders, to create blends of consistent character in the pure Deutz style, successive leaders acquired plots classified among the Grands and Premiers Crus of Champagne. Under the leadership of its President, Fabrice Rosset, the House Deutz has adopted a policy of reasoned production and yield limitation in favor of the best possible quality, which has allowed the affirmation of a true 'Deutz style', appreciated worldwide and valued by selective distribution.
