Very complex, persistent and deep, it takes time to reveal itself. When it is ready, everything is there: tight and velvety texture, ripe and elegant fruit, with notes of licorice, almost endless finish.

About the cuvée

CLIMATE AND SOIL: this climate is fully south-facing, on a marked slope. At the top of the hillside, the soil is poor and stony with rock at 25 centimeters deep. At the bottom of the hillside, the soil is also stony, deeper, and more clayey. The vines benefit from maximum sunlight during the day; thanks to the proximity of the valley, the nights are very cool. This contrast is very suitable for pinot noir.

TYPICITY: very complex, persistent and deep, it takes time to reveal itself. When it is ready, everything is there: tight and velvety texture, ripe and elegant fruit, almost endless finish.
